God’s great love for us should motivate us to love others and obey God’s command to be generous and help those in need. And that’s one of the gospel applications we draw out in our Answers VBS programs through the “Missions Moment.” For this part of the curriculum, we partner with Children’s Hunger Fund, a wonderful, gospel-centered mercy ministry. And through this partnership, churches that do our VBS have raised money for over 9.2 million meals for children around the world!
CHF recently thanked us for our ongoing partnership with them by sending us a lovely card and a plaque to commemorate 9,253,500 meals sent to children around the world. Wow—what a blessing to be part of the work the Lord is doing through CHF and their partnerships with pastors and churches in various nations.
If you have used our Answers VBS curricula (which I encourage you to do—they are powerful and very unique) and raised money for CHF for the Missions Moment, this plaque and card are for you as well. Thank you not only for investing in the children in your church and community by putting on a VBS but also for investing in children around the world through CHF.
